  1. Nice.
I think i know where theres a UVA Montage thats only part built. Owner couldn't find a windscreen for it so project stalled.

  2. Filler around headlight bucket sanded.

Rest of wing is not too bad.

  8. Gave the wings a couple of coats of primer today, then a bit of stopper to fill the blemishes.

Then gave them another couple of coats of primer to give enough to sand smooth.

Even the poo rear one turned out OK. :)

Note my state of the ark ;) spray booth.

Keyed the paint in the spare wheel well a bit better and blasted on a couple of coats of primer.

  14. More wet sanding done today. Did i say that i hate sanding even more when theres mucky slurry running down my arms?
Did the dash. God theres loads of fiddly bits.

A and B pillars and heater channels done too.

    Scuttle given a sand:

Got 1/2 of the under bonnet area sanded then lost the feeling in my fingers.

Noticed a dent in the top of the bonnet, but its a where the double skinned section is so i can't knock it out. Either have to resort to filler or just leave it.

    Paint. :)

Theres a few little pin holes in the primer but nothing a spot of stopper won't fill.

Gonna see if i can get the rest of the shell sanded tomorrow ready for some topcoat after the weekend.

    Hope your decasting goes OK.

I'd have got more done recently if i was at home but housesitting for the inlaws at the moment so only get a chance to get to my garage every 2 or 3 days. :(

Still not 100% sure where to mask around the door opening as theres not a seal to hide the paint join like on a modern car.

  19. you can get soft foam 3m tape for in around doors

  20. Isn't that just for if you're painting the doors on the car?
