I dont think Rudiger coverd himself with glory prior to the racist chants, I dont think he should take up rugby any time soon. They are saying its a reflection of society but you dont get it when I go to the rugby.

That’s because at rugby matches the vast majority of other people in the crowd tell you to shut the f**k up and don’t write it off as ‘bants’ when it’s aimed at the opposition. Plainly there is a huge majority of football fans that find this abhorrent....self fix your own sport kids. It’s embarrassing watching a multi billion pound sport insist on governing bodies or the government itself to step in. Dead easy, the other 69,999 fans ostracise the dickheads and get them binned as soon as it starts rather than the polite shoe gazing that comes when it’s one of your team’s supporters.
If they prove that supporters were making racist noises then they should receive a life ban. As should the idiot who throw something on the pitch. There’s no place for this in football, and fans of a club who regularly have to it up with hissing noises from visiting fans as they mock the gas chambers, should know better. For the interest of balance, I have friends who have season tickets in that part of the ground, they told me they genuinely had no idea why the announcement was made. They said all they could hear was a lot of booing, but no racist language or noises. After the match they asked their steward what went on and he said he was as confused as they were as he’d been told that it was for racist chanting but he’d heard nothing and neither had any other stewards. So hopefully it was just one or two idiots and they can be dealt with, but it certainly wasnt a huge portion of the crowd like they seemed to be portraying on match of the day.

FIFA showed weakness with the international games which should have been stopped. As a result they have shown that you can probably get away with it. This game should have been stopped straight away, never mind the stupid announcements. Football really is a dreadful culture, from having a go at officials to racism to having to segregate fans. It is supposedly our national sport but the country should disown it. While our rugby players, cricketers, athletes and tennis players reach international finals, English football is overpaid and woefully underperforming. I stopped watching footy years ago because it's so bloody boring compared to other sports where skill and deftness are at the forefront. Ooh that's better - got it our of my system.
