edit, btw, that door although a fair sized dent will - pull and fill no probs.

 

Take the door lining off, push it out by hand and take some paint polish (or toothpase if you haven't got polish) and rub out the scratches, you'll probably find there's more gate paint on the door than there is paint missing from your door. Then you can decide if it's worth fixing further or living with it.

 

Pop a plaster on it and write ouch next to it, every time you look at it it will make you smile
