right off, no point bothering with an old van like that

may be easier to just replace the door, the dent may come out

Commiserations! doesnt look that bad!If it fits then dont get a new door. Get it pulled, filled - whatever and repainted. New ones dont fit!

 

I do do that to mine sometimes. It doesn't matter.

Dave, just keep going and add some more - get a bit loose on the steering and brakes and add character to your van, it would suit you.

 

Oh no - we have all done it at some time! It can be pulled out to a point but for the cost probably cheaper getting another door?

 

It won't be cheaper getting another door, you have to buy it, prep it, paint it inside and out, move all your hardware over to it...

Repair the dent, blow in the colour and lacquer the whole bottom half of the door. Far, far cheaper.

 

Bit of duct tape to cover it... Isn't that your usual way of dealing with things x

I'm not really that arsed about the finish ,not even bothered about the scatches still being there ,just want it less dented
Was hoping for £50 -£60 to pop it out ,it seems pretty solid anyway and nothings split.

 

It's quite a good dent, I don't think you'll be popping it back out too neatly. You need a man with a slide hammer. It looks like if you pulled out the nasty front of the dent the rest might boing into place.

 

That is a nice buise. That video fix from above looks like a cheap way to give it a go but I presume the steel might be to thick and strong for that.
