I do on occasion and try hard not to, but when I am having a drink I can't help myself or, when I get stressed. I shouldn't, but I do and it has been a ongoing battle to stop! Do you smoke, are you a reformed smoker or have you never smoked?
Reformed smoker here, been 3 years without, after about 27 years smoking... been really struggling for a few months so using rank nicotine gum to ease the cravings... could murder a roll up TBH!
Gave up 7 years ago after 22 years smoking, With what we were spending on fags we stopped and bought a house !!
I've never been a smoker, despite both my parents smoking. My older brother smoked from a teenager, and died of lung cancer 5 years ago. My sister is now on one of those vapour things. I understand the difficulty of a long term smoker trying to give up, but if they could smell themselves, and their clothes, I think that would help.
I smoked a packet a day for many years. Then one day about 15years ago I had a fag when I had the flu and it made me feel a lot worse, so I decided not to smoke any more and haven't had one since. It was a bit of a challenge to start with but now I can't imagine wanting a fag.
I did smoke for years. Had zillion chest infections. Chest X-ray scared me into giving up. Move to Spain stopped infections, meant I could smoke again!! Now I only smoke once a month at book club, if I've drank a lot and am outside, and festivals.
Never smoked. Mrs has never smoked and thankfully both my girls don't. When in the garden and next door neighbour opens a window or door we get a waft of the smell. And think Christ, what must it be like inside her house
Never have done... Never will do.. What is it with these fag pipes - walking through London you constantly get whiffs of raspberry, vanilla, bubblegum. My brother in law has one called 'The Elvis', I kid you not.. it's supposed to taste and smell of Banana, Bacon and Peanut Butter --- eh?
