Horizontal propane tank

  3. Sounds great but just remember new 20lt tanks are over £200.00 a piece!

  7. Tank arrived today with all the bits, fits a treat between the seats, bracket will ensure no movement and I will build around it with plywood!

    The black bracket you can see that cradles the tank secured to the floor then metal bands secure tank to bracket! Due to the clearance created by the bracket I am able to rotate the tank to gain 105 degrees!

    Then this is my heater that will attach under the floor once I cut two tophats out. Will then reattach the top hats to the heater surround to maintain stability of floor!

    Managed to pick up a whale space heater that is electric and gas!
     
  8. Am I missing something here, but to fill the tank up in that position will you have to drag the Autogas hose and gun through your nice new interior and fill it up from the inside of your van, is that practical?
     
  9. You are missing that he has also got a remote fill connection in his kit.
     
  10. Pkrboo is absolutely right the fill pipe goes down through floor then attached to the aft face of the front jacking point!
