  4. I've been looking at this one too. I don't really want to be cooking in the van but then the possibility is there if you need to. My main thinking is I want to boil up a kettle and then once we've had a brew mugs can go in the sink. If I'm away fishing 'eventually ' lol, I can always have a quick wash in the sink if I'm on my own so the 8821 is the one for me. Hope that helps and I've found a bundle with tap, pump and gas connections at extremevan.co.uk for £169!! :)

  5. @Lardy nice one that for that:) that's just the same with me, I think we would probably do most of the cooking in the awning when we're using it to avoid splashes and greasy smells but also hate the idea of not being able to just take off in the bus and be self sufficient without the need for the awning, outdoor kitchen etc and couldn't cope without my brew in the morning!!!!!!

  6. image.jpg Saw a bus at Bustypes last year with it in!! Well I think that's the one anyway?? I love the little unit it sits in,

  7. That's the other thing, I'd like to have my unit shaped around the sink to make more room for the dogs on the floor and have been thinking about what way round to have the sink if that makes sense? I'm now not sure due to wanting the largest part near the window means that the burner would be closer to the walkway, seeing all sorts of accidents happening there!! But then it would be next to the curtain on the other side so still thinking about that aspect. Obviously the sensible thing to do would be to make sure the curtain was out of the way :)

  8. Bit crappy but hopefully thus who's what I mean? :) image.jpg

  9. Hmmmmm that true, it's so hard to decide isn't it!!! We've just completely stripped out the interior last week so we can put one new flooring down, re-cover all the door cards and build some new units but neither of us have a clue what we want to do or the best layout for us!! I'd love a full size bed but we want storage space and also the Smev hob/sink option?????? So hard!!!!

  10. I like units shaped around the sink too. I found this pic while looking at google images

  14. Aha!! I've come up with a solution to the full width bed issue as have a couple of others on here ;)
Bed goes in the middle, storage either side and then when the beds pulled out its a full width one :)
This is mine a couple of months ago and I won't lie, it's still pretty much like this now lol! Ive made arm rests that go on top of the units at the side, they're the same thickness as the bed foam so when the beds out its all the same height  image.jpg

  15. Now that I like! Shame there's abit more room in that van but I'm sure sjs do something similar.

  16. Isn't that a 3/4 R&R? I thought a full width R&R had no room either side for units.

  17. It is a 3/4 bed but I didn't see the point of buying a full width one til I had tried this out. Truth is I want to use my bus for a while to find out exactly what I need and where. Hence the unit I'm having made to house the sink/ hob will be remove able too :)

  18. I've got the CAN single burner/sink combo in my ahem T4. I made a low level removable unit and it's all very compact, as I have a setup with twin RnR beds. The offside bed is compromised by the unit, but as it's low level I can still create a bed with the cushions over the top of the unit if necessary! The Bay is a Devon Moonraker so I have what has come as standard...........it's very functional, but nowhere near as stylish as the CAN!

  19. ;)

  20. Hi Lardy... we have a full width R&R bed but wanted a sink/hob combo and a stylish curved unit designed to fit around the sink, but couldn't find one for less than £500, so had to build my own, for less than £100 too. The Smev sink/hob combo and taps/pump etc cost £150 from CamperJam this year. Here's a piccy:
