Hob / Sink Options

  1. image.jpg £169.00 for the full kit including tap and all hoses/gas connector £10 delivery, it seems to be the best option having looked at Jackson leisure and EBay and a few others @pkrboo ;) I asked for the sink on the left version too as they stock that one as well!

  2. No worries, here to help :)

Think that's the one my buddy ordered, bundle 8 I think it was.

He said he basically paid £4 for all the pipework, gas, tap etc. as it was so much cheaper than elsewhere.

    Well done @Lardy mate :)

  4. That's the bundle I bought from CamperJam this year for £150... it's a great bundle.... all I have to do is figure out where to put the fresh water bottle and whether to plumb the waste into an internal bottle or to cut a hole in the floor and put a pipe through to an external bottle!

  5. We love this unit you've done and have decided to copy, if that's ok with you?? My hubby is asking, how wide is the overall size of the unit, excluding the little gas bottle cupboard?

  6. Hi @daisyjukes. The main unit is 900mm wide, 460mm deep and 790mm tall. The carcass is made from 12mm MDF with the back made of 9mm ply.

The left hand opening is 382mm wide to accomodate my fridge, leaving 482mm wide for the cupboard.

Hope those measurements help... I've posted some piccies of the door and drawer inners below:

  7. I like your unit @MK-Bay.....you could use the recess in the door for extra storage...
are you planning to fit a similar door over the fridge, or just replace the laminate in the front panel ? Easy job with the fridge door off....

  8. You're an angel @MK-Bay thank you so much!!!!!!

    If you buy this one
    ...but you intend this cabinet/position
You'll burn the seat when you put the cooker on.
    :)

  10. We've got one with the hob on the right, but you've made me think!?!? Ian's already building the cupboard as we speak, perhaps we need something to put up against the back of the seat?????? Panicking a little now

Hob on the right will be ok won't it?
Is Ian making a curvy cabinet? Or would that be a busman's holiday for a joiner?

  12. Im looking at swapping my 3/4 bed out for a full width one. Ive also got two swivles in the front (drivers wont go all the way around cos theres a unit behind. So Im thinking that as I want to swivel the drivers seat round 180 so it faces backwards, unit in the walkthrough (thats sittable on, Still want all the mod cons so was thinking a single unit anout 450 wide midway with a combination sink/hob, 3 way fridge underneath (I like having a fridge) and possibly have a demountable unit with the main cooker/grill in it that I can take outside to cook. Will be short on storage but Im just working out what the storage is for and its mostly unnecessary and if on an extended hol then demountable bxes would make it easier to put out into the awning and provide some seating so that possibly would be a buddy seat type box.

Cooker idea of the year for me is @Robo slide out one which might do the job for me too. Loads of ideas

  13. Think I may have mentioned this one before @Dicky, but have you thought about building a fridge into a drawer? Kingspan insulation, plastic moulded liner....remote Danfoss compressor? You could claw back a lot of the lost 'useable' storage by having the 'fridge' wider, rather than taller....maybe have the fridge drawer under the rear seat?[IMG]

  14. Due to cutbacks ive closed the R+D department and try to use proprietry products. Fantastic idea but not going to happen any time soon! Also needs to be 3 way!

  15. Yep he's making it himself this weekend, he did the carcass yesterday, doing the doors and drawer today I think:) he's doing it curved to the right like @MK-Bay 's

  19. the more i think about this the better it gets! Would solve the issue of non-demountable units getting in the way!
