It's a job I avoid like the plague though I often get asked. I'd quite like to do one, but however much I scrub my spanner hands I'm convinced the headlining would end up covered in black smudges.
It's the one job I paid someone else to do on my van. Wait until your bus is painted. Your garage won't thank you for having to prep your van with a fresh headliner, we're half way through one at work and it's a nightmare. Also don't glue spongey insulation behind all your interior panels with super mega strong glue then find out it needs welding
My headlining needs done too. I'm just handing it to a trimmer & they're making one. Was quoted 500 quid (ish) but il remove and refit windows myself
