  1. You'd have thought they would've got the grinding noise looked at tho

  2. The lady in question wanted him to replace the pads but NOT the pistons or discs.

  3. I would've told her to politely eff off

  4. Apparently she just turned up the stereo and tried not to use the brakes as "they didn't work that well anyway!"

  5. He wasn't polite! He's from Yorkshire!!!! (Awaits barrage of abuse) :D

  8. Ive seen a rear disc worn straight through on a car before as they had just kept replacing the pads and not the disc:eek:

My bus has that light on the dash or i should say what remains of that light on the dash
However there is no switch on the handbrake the light was to let you know if the brake pressure drops low or a brake pressure switch fails

  9. Hi Paul
I have wired it up as you said and it now lights up when I switch on the engine but it stays on when I let off the handbrake?
    Any ideas

  10. Just wired everything up to the old original switch that was in the van and it works ok …but noticed that there is a difference in the transistors or whatever they are .... Could this have been the problem or could the other switch have been faulty ?

  11. Maybe the design changed over the years. Possible that the tranny went pop.

So...light comes on when you turn the ignition on, but goes off when the engine's started and h/b off, yes?
