Ferrari would do better by getting their F1 program in order before branching out into other top level forms of motorsport.
I feel if Alonso doesn't agree terms with McLaren he'll be out of F1 for at least a season if not for good, he's been out thought & out fought by Vettel doing what he did. Vettel hasn't said that he IS going to Ferrari, maybe he's going to McLaren. o_O

Or is Alonso staying at Ferrari and raikkonen is out?

That's almost my guess, as he's currently 12th in the championship.

Monty's confirmed that Alonso is out this evening. Alonso said he's staying in F1 and won't be using a Merc motor.

Button and Alonso dream team anyone?

I wonder how he'd go at McLaren now that Ron Dennis is back in charge, they didn't exactly part on the best of terms the last time. Don't forget he cost them $100 million in fines plus loss of all points so no money from F.O.M. the following year. He said he's not driving for a Mercedes powered team in 2015 so that does limit his options, lead driver at Toro Rosso?

Initially I did think back to Renault/lotus but as they are going to merc its not there...

    He is staying in F1

McLaren would be a gamble for him.... are they likely to give him a championship winning car? The chassis hasn't been top class for a few years, so the Honda engine is going to have to be a bit special

If the amount of money Alonso is rumoured to have asked for is true ($80 million for one year) I think McLaren are better of sticking with what they've got for 2015 or at least until the Honda proves itself. Remember they don't even have a title sponsor.

Hold on, alonso is off to Mclaren, their having Honda engines and going by buttons body language he's out

Not strictly Formula 1 but a quick look at the Owners Manual for the McLaren F1 car

I see the latest rumour is that Porsche would like to enter a third car in Le Mans next year with Hulkenburg, Alonso & Button as the drivers.
