Favourite tune of the 80's

The Phono in Leeds - in the 80's - so many of the tracks on this thread were played but they always ended with

 

I used to go a club in the later 80s called CHICOS in Hanley ,stoke on trent .Played all alternative music,goth ,punk ,newwave etc -- nothing in the charts or played in NORMAL clubs.
Now for the last 3 years every 6 months Ben the DJ has a Chicos night --- everything goes to charity and its soooo good and lots of the tunes put up here are played .
We get a bit tipsy [a bit ] and dance all night and its great.The next one is in November ,cant wait.

I couldn't possibly choose just one song, and the contenders for the top ten (or twenty) are such an eclectic mix that I don't know where to begin! I'm almost paralysed with indecision... How about this: Written in 1963, but I love this 1980 Ray Charles version
