Had to happen after the other 2 threads, time to publicise my new romantic roots.... Not my favourite track but definitely one of my top 5 albums First time I ever saw robotic dancing Not by Phil but by some kids at Butlins, Minehead.
Where to start? My formative years and theres sooooo much, in fact most of the music I listen too is from the 80s. Id venture that this was indeed the greatest decade for music ever. Regardless of what genre floats your boat. Heres a starter: The 80s started in 1978 for me as the music was seamlessley fantastic for 5 or 6 years
First gig I ever went to: Almost had my head knocked off by sticking it out of the train window on the way home from London.
waay too many to mention. can't pick one but this nearly creeps in there and so pertinent when weller had real hair.
and these sooo much great music in the 80's. i discovered sex pistols (much to parents annoyance) and later some psychobilly. strangely, i never really liked the 'pop' mainstream stuff then but will happily bop around the kitchen to it now
