Mark, it's a discussion forum, nobody is forcing you to read or reply to any of it and no rules have been broken. He/she is as free to type their views as you are.
When you sink to insulting/belittling you've lost the argument. If you can't be arsed to reply to the post contents, don't post?

It is a VW forum though, obviously with banter and discussion on all manner of other topics. But this guy has not shown any interest in vans or introduced himself so, as has been said, he ought to exercise his rights to free speech on a more appropriate forum.

 

Why doesn’t everyone agree to not make any more posts on this thread. Let the guy argue with himself. Stop feeding him the attention he craves.

Zedders you are right of course but in this case I couldn't just sit and watch. I'll discuss with the best of them and always appreciate that my view is not the only one and not always right (rare of course ). However this guy is clearly not a VW person and only seeks to antagonise with his blatantly inflammatory comments that are frequently just wrong. I have no interest in debating anything with anybody whose motives are simply to annoy others. Somebody had to say something, I felt. My apologies if I stepped out of line.

The Mods should delete the thread because it is pure politics. If it was a mostly politic free discussion on masks that would be something else.
