She's allowed to drive either but not sure she wants to, tho she did mention maybe trying the pickup which is odd seeing as its a left hooker!

Might get her to walk up Sca Fell though - I'll just tell her there's a unicorn sanctuary or a kitten farm at the top

 

dont worry the pubs are quite relaxed up here and anyone's allowed to get plastered. one has an army truck to transport all the drunks back to the site. its like a rollercoaster ride back to your van.

Nah, not when I've got Katie with me - apart from being soley responsible for her, I might say something I regret and she doesn't miss a trick/forget anything!!!

 

I am on target for going ......hopeing to bring rock bags or pitch him in a local Bnb (dog kennel it depends how bad the weather is as he stinks when wet.

 

I know all the camping is full, but I'd quite like a ride out for a mooch and a chat etc as I'm local-ish.
When would you guys suggest?

 

give them a call, you may find they have some spaces. a few came up last year as people dropped out.
don't do a lord congi and come via hardknott pass, i think he had to do a 20mile detour.....

I have had to admit defeat. Definitely not gonna be ready to get there this year. I have booked grass pitch with electric if you want to camp. Let me know if you want my booking and I'll speak to the site office to swap it for you.

Weather forcast for next weekend looks OK for the moment.

I tried to buy a disposable BBQ or some charcoal today but after trying Co-op, tesco, morrisons and asda i came away empty handed.
Maybe its too early in the year or the shops are just too small round here.
