    Nothing it's a beaut. It's a 1600 from a beetle. og hx's too. It will be sold at some point to help finance the scooby purchase!

    I won't be going that far Paul. just a more modern youngster person friendly 2.0 Scooby . probably with power steering and vented brakes too!

  10. Beetles cases dont have the mounts for the rear engine bar
    This adapter bolts to the beetle case and then bolts to a bus rear engine bar

  11. He means if the case hasn't been drilled and tapped for the 3 bolts that bolt on the rear engine bar. The adaptor replaces the oil pump cover instead.

    EDIT: beat me to it!

  18. Can you fit vented discs with the standard callipers? I can't find any information anywhere.

    No mate I don't think It's right that I make that sort of decision for them, they say. it's either the 1600 or a scooby. their choice in the end. I will just do as told. Thanks though. :thumbsup:

    No I don't think so. I have read that jk kits are expensive and come complete with calipers etc. but I think you can do an home brew job yourself. Just can't remember the details!
