Edmondo arriva a casa nostra! Edmondo the doka comes to our house!

Seeing as I did all the prep last time I think it silly not to do the easy bit myself soI will be sorting the welding myself this time. I need advice on the best ( reasonably priced welder to buy ) and No doubt I will be asking silly questions too..

Like... Which sills fit the crewcab.. are they standard bay sill - lh drive none slider for the n/s and rh drive non slider for the os?

The beetle is on the front looking shiny and daily. The Eunos is under a taup avoiding the prying eyes of neighbours that want to buy her ( Just teasing one in partic who loves it ), So that's quite acceptable. the bay sits down the side of the house in front of the garage discreetly appealing to the passing eye ( Pikeys ) Lou's daily sits behind the bay and visitors can park behind that. I really don't like having Rhubarb outside though!

I have been addicted to the aircooled since my first one 36 years ago Mick. I had that bay for nearly ten years. the second one I bought a year later and kept for three years and sold her through lack of use, Then I went cold turkey for 15 years. since then I have had a T25 and sold it, My Westy continental which I still own and love, A 72 bug which is still here and now I have the doka to play with until it's done and then the eldest and his girlfriend are having it. They will help me do it too.

This is a big step for me. As you know I have always avoided the actual welding bit. I do the prep and finish, but leave others to do the easy bit. This time I am going to bite the bullet and persevere with the welding and sort it myself.
