dilemma time - forced upon me.
i'm not really one for fangled new phones it's a I phone 3gs out of contract now but I can have an upgrade (don't want to as didn't want another 24 month job) so I was happy to keep using it, I only pay 21.99 a month and don't use all what I get for that, now if I want a "free" upgrade I have to pay £27 and get even more minutes/text/data I don't need grrr grrr
could have the screen replaced but the battery isn't great either - I just wanted to keep it going until I decided not the blooming phone.

  7. Vodaphone were doing the iPhone 4 for £18 a month through car phone warehouse I think? 18 month contact too

Try 3 - I have just redone my contract £21 a month - unlimited internet thousands of texts , minutes x network etc and Nokia lumiA 520!

Crappy customer service but don't they all?

  9. £21.99 per month when your out of contract!!!!!
You can get 1 month rolling sim only contracts for £5

  10. if you are going to get another iphone - don't bother with anything older than the new 5s & 5c.
the 4s is already 2 years old and if you tie into a 2 year contract - it will be 4 yr old tech by 2015.

or - stay on your cheap contract - paying £22 per month and just get a refurb iphone off ebay - £150 ish - but a lot cheaper than a 2 year contract and inflated monthly bills.

i'm not overly bothered about keeping up with technology would have quite happily kept this for a bit, maybe i'll get the screen done for a bit?

  14. and this is why I sold my van :(

  15. depending how badly its broken - i'm pretty sure you could do the repair yourself?
i have done a few iphone repairs - screen / battery etc - and as long as you take your time it's ok

just found a shop by work £30 for a new screen so I might do that?

  18. I would and change your contract too which will pay for the repair in a couple of months :)

I smashed the rear of my iPhone4 earlier in the year but got a repair kit from Amazon which cost me about £5 so did that myself no worries. recently I've managed to crack the screen, but not bothering to do this - its only in the corner. Will save up for new one next year.

I've also just had a very kind offer off a member on here if i'm stuck so I have options, think the new contract is out, I just can't justify another 24 month job, this has probably pushed me to get a sim only deal and see if this offer happens or if I get this patched up for now and get xmas out of the way.

  20. I've got a pay for bank account it's a tenner a month but comes with phone insurance love film and a few other bits! When I looked into insuring my iPhone it was £10 a month so with the extras isn't too bad! As I'm terrible at dropping my phone
