That's why I made my own... the hex bar is ok and can be better than the centre mount depending on what adjusters you use . If you avoid using the left / right handed threaded bar you can get the hex bar set up more accurate
When I fitted my Dells (type 4) with a hex-bar I needed to fit an off-stand to the l/h carb so that the linkage pushed at the same angle both sides. Without this the carb linkage was either synchronised at idle, but not full throttle or vice-versa. Before, note the angle of the dangle... After (crap pic, sorry)... Good luck!
Depends on the filter bases you have ...there is a specific type 4 style but there are a few close variations
