My original seats were recovered before I get the bus. No idea what they used ad a filling but my 12 stone bulk found them rather comfy. I only changed to 924 seats because a friend had them going cheap and I wanted a project.
Ah yes there is, just had a poke. It's not foa Ah yes there is! Just looked, it's not foam! Looks like a brown cloth like material, fairly thick, with string through it like old underlay? Sorry for the description but I'm unsure what it is.
I only noticed the offset once they were in, the fixed runners are fitted at the correct angle so if you follow that you get the right position.
Makes sense, there were a couple of holes in my seat support thing that lined up with a couple of options on the MG runners so I used them. Looks like I may of accidentally lined them up then. Really comfy whatever
The bolsters on yours look different to mine and I like the paneling detail on the shoulders. Now that IS white
MGF did a super sport type of variant, the VVT. those seats have a slightly different shape, thinner base and a back section that rolls over the top, mine are a bit more of a retro shape, rounded at the top and a bit fuller in the seat (not unlike my good self).
