You do need thick tips (insert innuendo here...)

With right ones, the big circlips just pop off. With a pair of Lidls pliers, you'll be there for hours...

 

We have a set of nippex ones ...sweet

 

I use long nosed pliers for those ones.

 

I have done in the past too... But having access to Snap On, and Mac Tools means that I generally buy the right tool for the job

 

I don't like spending money on tools, I never intended to do this for so long.

 

So that one in the eBay link is for circlips between 40mm and 100mm in diameter?

 

That's what I'm assuming too...

I've spent a good £2k on tools this year

And I now need a new roller cab and top box as it's no longer big enough for what I've got!!

 

My welder was £90, my spot welder was free. I've had my socket set for 35 years and not lost anything. I spent a few £'s setting up the painting though.

 

That worked out well, didn't it ?

But you have pioneered camping in a Bay inside a heated building, which is how it should be done
