yes at least ....you used to be able to buy a real nice cone in two halves to do this ,,but I`m struggling to find them
Yeah I couldn't see them either so I'll have to make something instead. Will take a bit of maths to work out what shape to cut that'll bend to the correct form but hopefully I'll get something done this weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Check out my rsto thread "doogles resto" i did it using 2mm steel formed into cone shapes and put grease nipples on them and rammed em full of grease!

Got 'em! A little bigger than the originals (or mine have been tampered with at some point!). Nice and strong though, I'll follow suit. Pics to follow...
How come everyone and his dog makes the easy stuff like top hats that any idiot with a press brake can do, but no one makes the really useful cone shaped bits?
very strong. and yes bigger than original. highly recommend the grease nipples as it'll never rust again after them!
I'm tempted to perhaps drill some small wax injection holes and fit a bung after pumping some cavity wax in?
When I got a new (s/h) front beam I filled the ends with waxoyl, let it stand for a bit and drained it out. No way is that rusting out for a while.
When we were younger, me n me mates used to go get a Chinese on the way home on a Friday night. My one mate used to say " if you add number 16 to number 12 you got a chow mein" I never understood what he meant. I just thought it was a dim sum!
Just in case anyone is/was ever interested... This is what it looks like now with the ultra-minimal repair. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4348y6cjo5rx58d/2016-05-16 18.27.03.jpg?dl=0 Both sides, plus a new brake cylinder (old one was seized) came to the princely sum of £60 inc VAT.
