My mate had a fruit and veg stall on north end road market, and I used to drink in the Clem Atlee pub before home games

Golden lion there’s a blast from the past, girls coming round with a pint glass to do a full strip .
My mates all lived on the Clem Atlee estate and on that side of Fulham, do you remember the old bag lady who used to push a pram around Fulham with all her worldly goods on it, when she died rumour has it they found thousands of pounds on that pram

I had a mate who for 20 years genuinely thought it was called the golden line, he was a bit slow bless him but god could he have a row

Always fascinated me, don’t know why but I was very young!

Then there was this which was positively space age although much older!

But it was a 70’s bug that blew me away circa 4yrs old. It was pale blue metallic and had one of those autoplas rear window spoiler things. I would peer through the window and dream of someday owning one!

Yep as soon as I could afford one. I think I was about 18 and it was my 4th car. And I’ve still got it!
