As @dan H say's ................. The email address was from another thread on here........... just typed the details including (chassis/Engine number) into an internet translator, adding the english in the mail just incase the translation was $hit....... The translation was as a courtesy to the Eurpeans (IMHO) are the most British ;¬)).
Cheers for that, looks like I'll have to stop messing about with bits of wood in my shed and do some proper grown up stuff. Booooooring.
Well, I must say Mr @sANDYbAY does look rather nice as an avatar............... so if thats good for you ................ Must say I do think the same now I look again LOL
Yes then just walked to my local post office where they registered it as historic with no problems. I'm racking my brains but I honestly can't remember if I paid any money for it.
Was it the birth certificate, if not what one did you go for and where did you request it from please? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I went for the certificate Took about 5 month. Nice quality. Signed by a human with a pen. Also got proof that the shagged out engine sitting in my mother's garage is the original so ill keep a hold of it.
Given that I've got 12 months I reckon that I will probably do that. It will go well with the original Audi/VW 1977 export certificate to satisfy the nerd in me Exactly where did you request it from? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its been a couple of months since i applied for mine so i guess ive got a while to wait yet , van isn't finished yet so no big deal i suppose
Mine took a couple of months for the DOKA but came with an extra page with dimensions, max speed (127 kmh),weight and a couple of other bits that have helped me fill in the new registration document.
