I get it’s player safety, but not sure what Curry was supposed to do. I won’t swear but it was a terrible decision by the endless bank of officials.
No idea I'm not watching and not really that interested, but I do wonder if it's slowly cunningly turning into League. Why I can't imagine. A lot of what made Union what it was seems to have gone for good, the scrums are a joke etc etc.
They’ve made a good Argentina look and act like a youth team who suddenly realise they are playing adult rugby. Fair play England, pressure tells.
Quality performance admittedly against a below par Argentina. With 14 blokes I’ll take that. Farrell should be worried. Ford bossed that.
Depends who you are playing. He is perceived as a weak defender…England played May a fair amount in his channel today which can dictate how your back three then play. Ford was player of the tournament in the U20’s World Cup a few years ago, which is a list with some unbelievable past winners….apparently only Eddie Jones couldn’t see this.
I don't think you could fault Ford's defence today. A man down they held their line Rugby League style. If any anyone missed a tackle it was curtains. I haven't seen the tackle count but it was impressive.
I meant historically. Argentina barely fired a shot, and the ones they did were mostly into their own foot. I concur, for a long time Ive thought him fantastic….I just belief you choose the right tool for the job. England, apart from Farrell haven’t had a complete 10 in terms of attack and defence since Wilkinson retired. I’d not start Ford v France, Ireland or Scotland for example.
I never saw the 2012 Olympic opener but this was just chaotic. Even the cameraman didn't seem to know what we were meant to be looking at.
An almost identical scenario as yesterdays didn’t even warrant a yellow today! World Rugby need to sort their house out. It’s becoming a farce.
Does seem a bit ridiculous especially as neither were malicious, just an accidental clash of heads . I blame the galloping influence of Video reviewing almost every decision to the point of a referee only being there to call on the 4th official.
