The only way is up from here,you could get a clean start ,been there done that so I know its possible ,when you look back you will smile as it will get better ,don't think about saying b%%%%%%s and driving the van though
Sorry to hear that. I was made redundant 3 times in 5 years and looking back I'm glad it happened. They forced me to reconsider things although at the time it all seemed s***, especially as we had 2 young kids. Good luck with the job hunting

My sympathies mate, you could do camper hire with a twist, twist being they have to take you with them . You could show them all the best campsites too
It's hard to imagine when you're in the middle of this scary time, so hard not to take it personally. But I've had it done to me twice and honestly I found better things afterwards. But huge sympathy for right now and I hope that at least you don't feel alone after everyone else's comments. And get planning that tour!
Really sorry to hear this mate but as someone who went through it myself, it was a blessing in disguise I ended up with a much better job ,pay and fab people to work with! Not easy but dont focus on them now, think about updating CV tonight ( put the booze to 1 side) and tomorrow start looking. Stay positive ! What job do you do btw? Is it the windows etc based job Poptop2 posted up? Think about contracting for a bit just bump up the cash then find a permie? Thats what I did? Good luck !
