Ive been told to stop being so cynical and untrustworthy and people are mostly decent Ive had a lot of experiance to say otherwise so maybe thats where my cynicism comes from What do you think are people mostly decent?
hmmm.. I'd like to think that there are more decent than not... All.the late bayers so far have been decent...
definately most are , its just that you dont have memories of the ones who simply come and go, its the odd prat that sticks in your mind. I ran into a couple today. I was out on my mountain bike, I usually stick to the woods but on the way home decided to take a short cut via the road. As I cycled up a steep hill in granny gear ( thats the mechanical type not an old knitted cardy and pinafore frock) I heard a car coming up behind me its a 60 limit but this clown was right on my back wheel banging on the door shouting and bawling playing some crap music on his stereo.. anyway up they cam and pulled along side me crawling up the road, the ***** in the passenger seat was hanging out the open window *******ed as a fart bottle of becks in one hand giving it large laughing shouting and basically being a complete dick, I had to stop in the end and they stopped too just to holler abuse. before chucking the bottle at me..I never said a word, just took it all in and let it wash over me I rolled back a wee bit to get the number off the reg plate which I made obvious and they took off... I'm nearly 50 and well over 6 feet tall not exactly built like a brick Marmite house but I had just hammered through 14 miles of woodland, so fairly fit, but didn't think my chances were good against 2 on a back road from know where I'm a bit laid back really, so bit my tounge, but I was a tad annoyed that idiots like this can routinely get away with stuff just because the law rests firmly on there side .. Its here that I get cynical.. I'm a believer in Human Rights, but only for those that operate within the law. Unfortunately it doesn't protect people who operate within the law . I wish i took out every panel on the side of his 62 plate VW Golf but had the presence of mind to realise that despite them being the cause, It would be me that was in the brown stuff... On the whole though people are fine, its society that stinks.
I believe most people are decent. especially people who are contented with their life...but the older I get the more I see the b++++++t that people pull to either have one over on you or to be one better...which is sad...I agree above TLB ers seem a real good crew and I really look forward to meeting up soon in real life..

redoxide thats just awful... i would have been fuming... people like that should be wiped off the face of the earth...get rid of all the scumbags like that... theres actually no benefit to our society with them being in it... its just pure nastiness and no empathy for other people at all... never mind throwing the bottle at you... i hope you do report them and their number plate... x they deserve their come uppance...
yeah but no but... Wipe them of the face of the earth? Possibly a bit OTT, lol. They're just thick - their lives must be pretty crap if that's a highlight. Pity might be a more suitable emotion?
I think we can all have our moments, I hitch hiked to moroco with my girlfriend and was on contant edge but we met nothing but good people! well until we got there and got fleeced by a taxi driver lol
nah they dont deserve pity... people who act this way cant be changed... like i said they bring nothing to society...just nasty people doing nasty things to other people...
Just let the Darwin effect kick in, I am sure it will all work itself out... Either that or take the warnings off plastic bags....
the problem is these types seem to be learning from their ignorant parents who create ignorant children who then breed with others of similar disregard for others creating a super breed paradox... (disclaimer nothing to do with paradox) hehe ahhh bleurgh....
