Stop being a bunch of girls and get a potta loo, then learn that having a crap in your van is no biggy. Your then be able to camp at cheaper sites or go wild/free.
Illegal I know thou from wot you guys are posting I'm staying in/with off road lay bys , last "campsite I visited with a view to staying long term(work related) the owner wanted £7 per night ,for tent not bus and pointed to a field opposite the farmhouse she was stood in , and it was a field ,and there were cows in it ,and the grass was well long and I simply didn't get how she came to the idea it was fit for anyone to pitch up in, in the best manner of a redtop investigative reporter "I made my excuses ,and left" my thought when I got my bus were ,well, thats accommodation taken care off,i"ll save on that from now on <<<wrong !
i'd agree and would do a lot more camping if mrs roo didn't insist on hair straighteners etc...... the only wild camping I get is if I wake her up - she's proper wild then.
Get organised you lot. Have a pooh at the local garage/supermarket/cafe ect before you stop for the night.
This has all got a bit scatalogical all of a sudden!!! I thought this thread was about campsite prices
It"s a forum, jonspadge a chance to exchange views/opinions/experiences, me,? very non p.cp I know , but a good stash of polly bags is highly recommended .
Weathers been fine the last 2 weeks but the numbers camping at the sites I've been to are well down on the last few years , hopefully the prices might drop.
Camping and Caravan Club site at Scalby on the North Shore, it's nice walk in to Scarbourgh and C a C sites are well run, and we only used it as we were members. But I ain't ever paying that much again for a site...let's say it was a 1 off
Whitby is a great place any time of the year...there is a small site just outside Whitby on the Road to Sandsend. not stopped at it though.so can't comment on what it's like
