  1. I did measure the fins with a bit of string once. Originals have almost three times the fin area, assuming they have the same length, so three times the heat output.

  2. No worries, looks like Nick may have found it, if not I'll do a search. There is a massive difference between the two, the ones I have aren't quite as bad as the ones on the left but nothing like as good as the ones on the right. Would be good to get some of them before next winter, can imagine it being quite expensive to import them though. Anybody going to the US and not up to the luggage weight limit? ;-)

  3. They look really good - I think I'll save up and get me some of them when I can - they'd be worth paying a bit extra for I reckon, especially if these winters keep on getting colder and colder! Thanks Paradox! :)

  4. No problem hun

You can repay me with a free ticket for the field of dreams and allow my daily drive passat to bring my tent in:thumbsup:

    Lmao

  5. Do you know what why not contact them for a club multi buy? Might be worth a shot? I would get some but then again I still have ideas to make enhanced versions on the cheaper ones?

  6. Have just emailed for a quote for a pair shipped to the UK. will let you know.

  7. They do look good, with what appears to be proper finnage inside. A bit pricey, but then repros aren't cheap.

Wonder if they're the same as the HD ones that Heritage sell?

  8. I am still interested if they can get the postage down and give us a discount for multiples. I think someone tried to contact them and the response was lukewarm about any discounts.
It was me that found them in the first place, but I don't think anyone can vouch for the the quality of the actual product only what they look like from the pictures

  9. Haha, you're funny ;-)

  10. It would be good - if the quality is worth it of course - to try and get a discount for large orders, maybe somebody on here wants to be the UK distributor? ;-)

  11. Ok so I got a reply. They would cost £312 a pair posted but that is before duty and tax is added at customs...

  12. Probably be an extra £30 to £50 then :)

  13. These things must be made in Europe...doesn't anyone else do them?

  14. I wish someone would act as a Uk supplier. I wonder where they are manufactured.

  15. Get a quote for posted to Florida. If you guys can wait, I may be able to get them forwarded on. ;)
I got my seat belts from Wolfsburg West, £95 here, £35 to Fla.

  16. Thats a nice offer TBR:thumbsup:

  17. I've just had a schooch through the european suppliers that I know of, and none of them do them.... could be that they are made in the good old U-S of A o_O

  18. Why do we only have the crap stuff avilable in the uk and at big prices it pees me off

Is it too much to ask for as somthing as simple as a heat exchanger that actually works and doesent cost a fourtune
