Another Bank Holiday weekend!

    Drove passed on my way to Weymouth early Thursday morning ( early enough to not get caught in any queue!) it looked absolutely huge!! Strangely despite living here all my life, and only being a year younger than the steam fair itself, I’ve never been. Every year I say I really must go.... so next year I’m definitely going!

    Just parked up the van down in Southsea for Victorious Festival, and got the kettle on. It emptied with rain earlier in the day, but all looks set fair and sunny for tomorrow. Bring on The Modfather himself tomorrow night

    And yes, it is a bit parky.... and I’ve not even been in sunnier climes for the last 6 months, you must be freezing!

    Working tomorrow as this weeks jobs have over run. Then Carp fishing tomorrow night on a bloody hard water, so essentially camping with fishing rods.

    Setting off to do Mallerstang Edge or a bimble up Wild Boar Fell, depending on how knees are feeling when we get there. No doubt a pint at the Moorcock Inn too.

    Made no plans this weekend but decided to see how I feel and where the wind blows me. Heading to Leeds to help a friend sell stuff before her move to Scotland. Call from friend who haven’t seen for ages who is on tour and will be around tomorrow.... who knows what the weekend will bring. Am enjoying the lack of plans :)

    I went when there was the troubles back in the 80's....went hunting for a trolley outside s was confronted with a tank and armed soldiers who didn't look in the holiday spirit.
