They're in my VWH basket, then I thought I can probably do them much cheaper and quicker than Wednesday, just need a bit of pipe.

I decided to order the ready made pipes after all because I needed some other bits and it took me over the free postage, ordered tues from VWH still not arrived so dissapointed.
However, I've done loads of small stuff, worked my way through wiring and plumbing this FI system in,
    [IMG]
Think that's all snail fan wires,
    [IMG]
All in new battery , fuses cleaned up, oil checked,
Turned over lovely and oil light went out after a few seconds, just need that damned tank in now

Still no tank outlets in the post
So tackled another job I've been putting off,
    Slightly bent drop side
    [IMG]
PO welded panels on the inside which has protected against outward dents but made the gate twice as heavy,
    [IMG]
    Ground and chopped them off
    [IMG]
    To reveal quite reasonable inside
    [IMG]
    Epicentre of the crease
    [IMG]
Took it outside, got a block and a helper, stood on each end, applied the boot in various places and
    [IMG]
    Quite pleased with that

  6. Where do the tank breathers go to on a pick up. That afm you lent me may be pick up only as the air box does not have a valve on it where the breathers enter the box its just a blank.

They just vent out near the louvres in the side panels

  8. Looks like it then. The air box will unscrew from the afm
One less vacuum hose to worry about

Got too admit the entire vac hose set up.on these FI s is confusing the hell out of me, think I've got it right , we'll find out tomorrow :)

    A little taste of paint,
    [IMG]
Just primer for now, the tent is leaking a bit and the weathers so changeable, want to get the screen and lights back in so I can MOT it ASAP.
Then I can finish the camper while I wait for the pickup to be registered, then I can paint it properly in the workshop

Yes I know I've left some dents in on the drop gate but that's how I want it, part of its history!
You should see the cab roof

All the lights back in and working, which doesn't sound much but in reality means hours of cleaning contacts, bulb holders replacing earths and a flasher unit. Horn wiring works but horn goosed, wipers blowing fuses at the mo but I've had enough for today!

    Insulated the cab roof

Got the new headliner warming up for fitting tomorrow

Horn replaced, got the wiper motor back off the camper as it was off the pickup originally and works, Swedish washers not working though seems to be the relay.
I've booked it in for MOT Friday

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

Is that painted? I thought was just primed?

  19. Is that epoxy primmer  or normal as only epoxy will protect it from the damp as normal primmer will absorb water and make it rust under neath :(

It is just primed, need to get it MOTd asap, then I can set about registering it which I've no idea how long that will take.
Not decided what colour yet and I'm not painting it in the tent so it's primer till the campers done and the garage is free,
