  1. Thank you, I just love welding and projects

I found a video a mate took while I was cutting off the front bumper...

  2. Well I've done nothing to this over the last few weeks :'(

Been having to work on my other vans so I can sell and get some funds together, to make it worse I've turned an aircooled T25 into a watercooled one :rulez:

  4. I've looked into what people do when doing a H20 on bay and splits they tend to mount the rad in the chassis rails but the T25's have alot of junk, cables, heater pipes in there so mounting there did not seem a good idea as I would of had to move alot of it, I ended up mounting the rad in the spare wheel area under the the front of the van on two little brackets.

It mean I can run a later model T25 heater in the van and it'll still look aircooled and if needed be returned to aircooled very easy :D

    It's almost done now.

  5. Right she is now back to being a panelvan I finsihed off the last repair window section yesterday O:)

still loads to do, next is the sliding door section on the chassis, I have the outer panel but the inner middle is shot so I'll be ordering that this week.

The front is also coming along repair section to the bulkhead have been made up and the front floor sections have been ordered, now just to see if I can save the front arches I have.

Fair play for tackling a big project and reverting back to a van, get as much done now before it gets too cold!

  9. That roller must make work a hell of a lot easier

  10. ^^ WHS ;D love that roller :D

  11. Yeah it's a great bit of kit, I've loads of work todo on the chassis so it should be easy standing work!

  12. Well yesterday was a good day of cutting!

3 tophats, all jacking points, out riggers and cable pipes removed plus the front and rear cross members have been removed, loads of underseal has been stripped off and prepped for welding.

Front beam is also off now!

    It looks quite naked

I've found the best way of getting old unseal off is by using an air chisel at low powerit knocks the stuff off nicley and does not damage the paintwork very much, much better then a wire brush and less dust!

  15. good resto matey, great idea maing the van a "van" again, will be so cool when its done :) can i ask where you got the little cliko's or whatever they're called from, that you are suing when putting the lower side panel on - like temporary rivets? they are good, and i;ve seen them used many times but dunno what they are called / where to get them from?

Also, how much was the chassis roller? and where can i get one of them from?

  16.
  17. Hi,

what are the little fixings you've used to clamp the bottom of the panel on? They look very handy.

  18.
  19. do ya need a special tool for attatching the blind rivets, or do ya just press the middle in with ya thumb or summit?? :_)
