I got some from JK about 11 years ago, so probably Brazil ones, haven't had an issue with them.
Saw this one in Arnold, Nottingham last year...lhd and different interior
Engine all plumbed in and I gave it a basic tune and it sounds good.Always a worry when the engine has sat on my workbench all wrapped up for approx 12 years.
Just got the calipers back from being reconditioned .I used a company called Bigg Red and i cannot fault the service whatsoever.
Nice relaxed morning starting to fit the sound deadening. It is one of those jobs where you get immediate visual results and job satisfaction.Anyone recommend a decent damp resistant insulation material ? .
Apart from yours is in much better condition and the wheels!
Nice ! Any chance of some pics of the interior please .
I'll try and sort some this weekend, need them for insurance anyway.
Thanks .I need a few visual reminders where all my bits go.
Up early this morning and replacing all the front brakes .After returning two different questionable quality brake flexible hoses from local suppliers ,VW Heritage
came good with superb German made ones .
Managed to get some genuine rear brake backplates as mine are a bit corroded.
Backplates painted and now fitted .Trial fitted the drums
without and brake shoes and it is rubbing off the new paint in a couple of places so in the process of filling down the lip of the drums
Brakes all finished ,doors sound deadened completed and now doing a few 'shiny/showey' jobs like fitted the rear bumper and the shiney wheel trims .Next jobs are fitting a new fuel pump and weighing up how to go about the interior refit.
