Bit personal.... I use one of these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silverlin...Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item53f627ae49 You only need to dust it over, no need for leaning on it
I've not touched it since Thursday... Had other things to do!! But I'll be back on it this afternoon... just got a little bit of panel prep to do, then it's ready for primer!!
So I finally got everything prepped for etch today and hung it all up... there's a few extra pieces... may as well squeeze them in as I'm throwing some primer on!! Could do with a little extra space Extra bits New back bumper Etch on... would've grabbed some more photos, but the fumes were still hanging Primer on in the morning
GRP can be well over half the weight of steel... just depends on how thick you make the part!! I'm using twill as my laminate as opposed to chopped strand, so I can use one layer, but I reinforce the edges with tape to give it a bit more structure Plus with some of the bits I'm doing, it's more about replicating OG fitment with an alternate material
Bit later on the photos - was at the g/fs last night and I forgot to sort my camera out That's it for a few days now... off to volksworld show, and then 20 week scan come Monday
its always nice to see the primer coat go on Have fun at volksworld and ill look forward to the scan of the twins on monday
Sanding is going well... should have everything that needs painting white from that last primer session prepped and ready for paint, then i can lay some white down tomorrow
