65 Split - mixing it up a bit

  3. Well that's everything prepped... might just need to pop a bit of top stop on the front bumper as there's some marks showing from where someone has attacked it with a grinding disc o_O
     
  4. painting done... no pics as I'm now not at home... having a day off tomorrow as it's 20 week scan time :D

    Getting there with the splitty prep... just got the 2 cab doors to sand and mask, plus the engine lid and rear valance to sand... I'll have that done and hopefully some paint on by the end of play tomorrow :)

  11. It's like Christmas morning... but don't you be unwrapping the presents just yet ;)

    Then I threw some colour on, but I had to shoot out to get another 1l of paint, as I'd used more than normal re-painting the van after it's white seams :(

    Loads of fumes still hanging in the air!!

    But that's all the blue shot now... just a bit of flatting and polishing to do!!

    You do well to get all that lot painted cramped up like that. I'd be backing into the one I just made a perfect job of. :rolleyes:

  15. It can be an interesting dance in the shed with that lot hung up!!

    You have to constantly think about air hose from wall to belt curling over and marking a painted panel, plus the hose from belt to mask catching on something behind you!! :lol:

    all in a days work tho ;)
