YouTube adverts...

Does anyone know of an adblocker that works on youtube? Or should I stop being a tight arze and pay for premium?

Apart from giving YouTube money, I don't think there's any way of blocking them.

Put up with the ads, eventually otherwise you will find that Google wants to detect ad blockers and will block playing the videos.
I think that also even when you think you pay for the no ads tier, eventually like Netflix they will still end up forcing ads on you.
I think the youtube premium is too expensive.

 

I only listen to whole albums and long mixes on youtube + the odd single track and never see any adverts.

 

The annoyance/embarrassment factor of the ads also relates to what sites Google has tracked you visiting..

I guess I will be putting up with the adds then. I do have premium Spotify, but sometimes watching vids preferable. And the recommended tunes are usually better on the ‘Tube
