Unsure if anyone has seen this - I suspect it's the future. Basically, it maps the entire planet in a grid of 3 meter squares - the physical location is then broken down in to 3 distinct words e.g. daring.lion.race So....rather than have a road, then a number and postcode, this gives a literal physical location......so no more trying to figure out where the hell 157 Upping Street is by driving along it slowly trying to find house numbers. I do think it's flawed for blocks of flats however. To identify your What3Words location, you can use this site https://gridreferencefinder.com/ For us, as we are rural with no actual street name, it means deliveries and visitors (remember those!) can find the house easily - I suspect for campsites, hill walkers, mountain bikers etc. it will be a really good system. I'd imagine you can even locate people at festivals and VW shows, out at sea, in a football stadium etc. Have a play - do not publish your 3 words here unless you want the internet to know where you live. crown.logo.calms
