BROWN with spot lights , i get

 

wasn't brown it was called copper bronze actually

 

I had a copper bronze this morning

 

Mine was a 68 1500 in chinchilla. Still got it but now it's black.

I bought one of these - £30 with 12 months mot & 6 months tax - insurance was £30 tpft - Bargain motoring ... !




Was the early 80`s though ...

 

We had one of these in dare I say it brown, I went to Turkey in 2006 and they were everywhere.

 

That`s dead right !





They were badged as OYAK renault , Taxis, police cars , cut `n` shut specials - they were very popular when i was there in the early 90`s , in fact i got run over by one in Bodrum ...

 

1974 1303. my dad bought it for me in 1985 when i was 16. It cost £100. Needed a bit of welding but wasn't too bad.

My first car too
It was 895cc though and canary yellow!!

 

Ansas were the order of the day when I last had a beetle (with a Reece Fish or Holly carb)

A 1979 Fiesta car derived van re-converted to a car which used nearly as much oil in a week as it did petrol!

 

My first car was one of those very popular , trendy and expensive fiat 500,s I think I scrapped it.But my fave was a 1978 vauxhall carlton.

 

Maestro Van and a Metro - No pics to hand! The floor fell out of the maestro van and the metro was soon replaced by a Golf! The Maestro Van was replaced with a Mini Pick up which got trashed on landing from a hump backed bridge and written off - of if we had known then what we do now.

My first car was a 78 Chevette, there are pictures but they are very non digital.
It was OK.

 

this is me in the early 80's with my first form of motorized transport. old old f reg. Yamaha 50.
And thats my first water cooled car from the late 80's. I didn't keep it long.
