Busy day!! working through the engine rebuild and today I sanded, prep'd and painted the tin wear over the oil cooler & opposite side, engine mounts, air filter mounts, heater ducts, coil clamp, oil filler and a few other bits.... Once dried I refitted the dipsick bellows and rubber bungs in the air filter brackets, wrapped in bubble raps and boxed up ready for the refit. Going to crack on with the engine bay tomorrow before sticking the crank case in Polo to take to my bro's on Monday... busy week ahead, I'm hoping to be in Birdy's position in a couple of weeks time!
we went to watch someone (John from 81a) work on the van if that counts ) she's on her way! then we'll be refitting the interior and I'll be reupholstering and tarting up the curtains
finally got round to fitting cab headliner today and refitting screen and finished carpeting walls just got cabinets left to cover and wiring audio on monday
