I got so down about my bus tonight i went to the pub with money i dont have Two pints in i get chatting to an older fella about country living and the way it used to be Apparently hes had a swathe of foreign workers in the last 5 years and everyone hasent met his expectations He admired the fact im ex forces and was amazed by my work ethic in modern times Hes got a fair chunk of land local to me and want a countryman( read dogs body) to take care of it for him Dutys include tractor driving for grass and hedge cutting Processing firewood for the house Keeping the ditches clear and pest problems down Cleaning his vehicles prior to collecting customers for meetings And general duties Hes gone away to mull me over and said he will ring next week sometime Keep your fingers crossed for me people this may have been the break im waiting for
Cheers guys n girls Ive been offerd work many times before in the pub and its come to nowt In all honesty though this felt like the ONE it really did Ive told myself for years you cant live in darkness forever one day the light will come as it does from winter to spring Ive lived and on occasion wallowed in the darkness This feels like it may happen because it wasent born out of conversation of me looking for work It came out of a conversation thats paras normal state of mind and interest Hes buying another 40 acres this week so if i get the job im looking after 120 acres on my own And hes going to get livestock soon When he phones im going to tell him ill do a week for free and if it works out ask me back on a wage

That was about the third thought in my mind lol If i get the job then let me get settled in and ill pitch the question Please please please let this work out Ive worked at £50 a day before and the day was a fourteen hour day If i get £50 a day for tending to the countryside and the occasional washing of range rovers im happy with that
