I'm driving - really looking forward to those crisp winter days and hot chocolate in the van after a long walk - and in response to another thread I will probably be wearing red woolly socks.

    Waxoyled and ready to go!

  2. Mine is coming off the road at the end of October as I need to do loads of bodywork on it! The last 2 winters I have had the same idea but not actually gone out the garage until February so I then have a frantic rush to get it back on the road for spring! :p

  3. Last use for me will be Brighton Breeze. I need to get some work done on the inside of the front valance (it's slowly rusting away behind the deformation panel) so if that goes OK, it'll be SORN by the end of October until next April.

  4. Waxoiled underneath, good layer ofpolish on top and drive it as my daily drive in all weathers. ;D In the winter I sometimes arrive at work looking like Scott of the antacrtic though ;)

  5. Got a music festival in Ullapool this weekend, after that she will be taken off the road for the winter, I will occasionally take her round the block to make sure nothing siezes up, she will get a fresh coat of waxoil on the underside and a good wax on the paintwork, my mot is in february, I will be getting her ready for that !

  6. Now a daft question, can I get a paint on wax oil, I've got the spray on one but hate laying under and getting the sticky stuff all over me.

The paint on one is a thicker black gunge. I'm guessing it won't spread into crevasses as well as the spray on but I'm with you on the ease of application.

  9. I've got the black stuff I've used on the van but wanted too keep the underside of the pick up cleanish not black.

  10. 5 months off to do all the little jobs on the camper

finish off the paint work and interior this winter

  12. I looked out for you at vanfest but didn't see you handing out stickers and flyers but saw loads of stickers stuck up everywhere

  13. i am putting pinky in the garage mid-oct but plan to try and keep using her every week - at least once a week.
last year she spent all winter outside and was ok - apart from the dead battery O0
