  1. Great job. Looks comfortable and I like the colors. I also like the side on jump seat, great use of space.

  2. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

Nice work. Being in the grinding and welding trade I had to chuckle at the walkthrough re-conversion. Someone had gone to quite a lot of trouble to make it look authentic!

  3. Again, good work.

  4. Hi yorkieman, we paid about £1700 for all the units, but that also included the flip up seat on the side of the buddy seat, a portaloo that is stored under the buddy seat, the sink and hob combo unit and a few other bits and bobs. Don't know if you spotted it but there is also a table stored under the overhead unit, I just haven't got around to installing the floor mount point for it yet.

The door cards and seat cushons were made by a trimmer that they use and recommended, but that was all at an extra cost with him. Wasn't the cheapest option but the units are really well made, not cheap thin mdf back panels, all 2cm thick stuff so very sturdy, and the service we recieved from them was great and they couldn't have been more helpful or approachable.

    Hope this helps.

  5. Yeah I did feel guilty for destroying all the effort that someone had gone to to change it to a non walkthrough, but I did have a blast with the grinder lol.

  6. Wow quite surprised about the price that seems really reasonable, might have to look into it, thanks.

  7. No worries, good luck with whatever you go with.

Just a heads up though, most places we looked at for making units had waiting lists, and I think it was a 3 month wait for kustom interiors, but I know he was getting busier by time I picked my stuff up so could be even longer than that just now, but still well worth the wait, susan and I are both really pleased with what we got and all our pals that have seen it so far say wilma looks amazing.

  8. great looking van, you must be very pleased :)

  9. Thanks, yeah were really pleased with how she's come on, can't wait to get back from off-shore and hopefully get a some nice weather to get away in her.

  10. I like the flooring that was in the van when you bought it
I dont suppose you still have it do you?

  11. Sorry man no I don't, I did see some stuff that was pretty much the same in one of the flooring shops we looked at though so its still out there, was just to dark for what we wanted.
