I know it's a terrible thing to reach the stage that you'd rather die than carry on, but lying under a stationary HGV is potentially a bit hit and miss (literally) Suppose you fell asleep and moved around a bit...wake up with squashed legs....
And another tomorrow? As an aside. There is a worrying trend of people committing suicide by jumping into the path of oncoming lorrys from motorway bridges. Not good.A train just wipes em out.An alert lorry driver might swerve to miss em and cause mayhem
guess it's an unfortunate occupational hazard...Imagine I'd be pretty disturbed if it happened to me.... My Grandad was a delivery driver for Booth's Steel back in the day, doing girders and the like. His big worry was running over bricks in a twin wheel... He knew every decent Cafe the length and breadth of the country when he retired, James Booth (the big chief) asked my grandad if he would stay on and be his chauffeur....got to keep the Daimler as his daily driver This was in the days when few people had cars...let alone limos My dad recalled times when he and about ten other kids were crammed in to go to Blackpool
My heart skipped a beat as Rickyletta just waved me goodbye. She drove the wrong way out of the truck park. I was expecting a big crunch and make up and stilettos to go flying all over!
