I know quite a few are, according to the other thread, but not me...probably my closest show but not that keen to be honest. Indoors is too crowded and those on display always seem much of a muchness from memory, nothing particularly new or that interesting really...the trader stands also get busy with a lot of hustle & bustle....much better looking round the buses and cars outside I seem to recall..
I am going to go as it will be our first trip out if it passes the MOT on Wed. So what that should actually read is, I am going to attempt to go, but will be the broken down Blue and White bus parked on the A3
We going, just for one day. I mentally use it as the start of the season. Indoors is a nightmare with the crowds, but the crowds move in waves, so timing is everything
It is a bit of a nightmare. I normally do a day, then end up with a splitting headache. Last interesting thing I saw there was Heritage building their Beetle a few years ago. Still, might mooch down there...
l'm a bit reluctant because it's VoWo but to their credit it is a good show. best bits l found are in the carpark and campsites but it means you can drink, shop and meet fellow dubbers and chat with traders. And with it being so close it really is rude for me not to attend so l'll be there. And with 2012's bus problems now hopefully something that has stayed in 2012, if it does all go wrong for Barry, l can whizz home and get the Ragtop.
Ive been every year for the last 4/5 years, always the first show of the season for us, nice to catch up with like minded peeps, lots of traders and lots to see/do
We will be there all weekend. Make sure you pop in on TLB we Will be down on the grass area behind the flag stall again
Will be there Saturday.......annual trip for 6 of us from the Westcountry......... Altho Biffy gig in Cardiff the night before will no doubt take it's toll!
