Either someone has it in for you or its a case of mistaken identity, that's not a random attack, it would have taken to long for them to do it.

I remember when my Escort van was having a cam belt done in a garage I had it paint strippered I was devastated, not because of the damage, but because I thought someone had it in for me, after my insurance had paid out I found out that every vehicle in the garage left there that night was done, it turns out the builder who had done an extension on the garage hadn't been paid by the garage owner & he was getting him back, I was just an innocent victim. I then had mixed feelings I was very happy that some hatter hadn't targeted me personally but gutted that the garage hadn't told me about the other attacks. I could have claimed on his insurance & saved loosing my no claims bonus.

 

ahh man thats just horrid.. did you manage to get anything sorted?? what did the police say?

 

Whether personal or not get the old bill involved asap and if you havent all ready knock on some neighbours doors and ask if anyone witnessed it going down.

 

Hey Guys...........THANKYOU so much for your advice,and understanding!! Like u'll all appriciate just how gutted this leaves you feeling.....BUT...F%CK them losers....tyres all done this morning...i needed new anyway,but thats not the point! Rang insurance,seems theyre able to sort me out...so off to the guy tomorrow who done my resent paint job for a quote for getting the scratch done,and although ive removed most of the superglue,ive ordered a nice new shiny one,cos that was getting a bit pitted aswell!! And hopefully the cost of the cover too. And it seems it wont affect my premium!
And as of tomorrow,it'll be cosy in a lock up!......So for me now is to remain positive,and put one finger up to the TW%@S who obviously had to waste time,effort,and sleep(getting up in the early hours).....in TRYING to 'inconvinience me'......AND as for the police......what a waste of time....didnt seem interested,didnt take prints. but at least its recorded. ive decided for me that VW stands for.....'Victory over the Wa%*@rs!!!!!
