Where's your gas bottle

    Propane mate i have butane but i have a adjustable regulator on it its no good for the propex.
     
  9. can one of you kind folk tell me the dimensions of your 4.5kg Calor bottle - height and diameter (or circumference) will do, so I can check if they fit my cupboard? Ta very much.

  12. Ok, cheers. Not intending to use them .... at least not this time round.

    Anyone else here use them? Or seen them used?

    calor gas 4.5 kg in unit under sink. I had a westy under floor job which was great but i had a leak on 2 seperate occations . This was too much of a worry for me because when using an awning the gas would build up in side.

    Running a vehicle on LPG and the cooking/fridge is a no no well the last time I looked into it it was. Can't remember why now as it was a couple of yrs back and my mind ain't what is was.

    I think you can use a tank for both but it has to have different outlets as the engine uses liquid and the cooker uses vapour


    Also the engine you have to pay tax on but cooking you don't so with one tank you would have to pay tax on it all
