Where's your gas bottle

  1. I use expensive GAZ 907, so it will fit under the bed, but a Calor gas bottle will go in engine bay , opp side to batt. where's yours.

rickyrooo1 Hanging round like a bad smell

got a 3.9 calor under the sink for propex and a 907 for the cooker (use in awning) that bottle lives under bed, that will soon be replaced by another calor, campinggaz is too dear.

  3. I have two 907s in my Westie gas cupboard under the wardrobe.

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

we have both in the under sink cupboard, one Gaz and one calor and another two calor in the garage.

  5. under swing out cooker strapped for cooking, under bed strapped for fridge , under bed strapped for removal for barbie, all calor. ::)

  6. I have a 4.5 calor in the cupboard under the cooker.

  7. Took the westy underneath one off and fitted in the cupboard under the sink .

  8. under swing out cooker, recently swapped the 907 for a 4.5kg calor - slightly larger but all my pans and kettle still fit in just about.
I like being able to put the cooker in the awning so no other place for it really

  9. There isn't a poll option for Westy underslung? I have one and I love it. It takes up no space in the bus, costs £2 to fill up with LPG at a petrol station and powers the cooker and propex very happily. What's not to like.

I bet you can pick them up second hand for not much and if you want new you can get them though they are pricey.

  10. I have two bottles in a cupboard under a seat ....... But I gave these two metal gas bottle holders that look like they sit below the floor with the bottles still used from inside. Would need to cutout bots of the floor to use them. Not seen others using these I must admit.

i like that ^ i can't see why some people who import us vans dump them they look handy and probably cheaper to fill .

btw , does anyone have a 37mbar propane fitting and small bottle they don't need -- i want to buy one .

  20. not exactly sure ....... i'd guess about 10" or 12" square. why you ask?

and, has anyone seen these used before?

they look like a god idea if you don't mind the holes in your floor.
