Where (and when) did you last go on holiday that didn't involve using your camper or visiting friends or family? For me it was our honeymoon in Barcelona in 1999. Can't believe i've not been anywhere in 13 years.
Cornwall, Blisland near Bodmin in August. Every day on the beach apart from going to Fowey for the day to see the Red Arrows. We go to the same place every year and always go to Fowey for the Red Arrows too - even though Scampton is less than 10 miles from here and we can stop by the road and watch them practice for free when it's a nice day.
Not that I want to sound too smug or anything, but we were lucky enough to have a 4 month break between Nov 11 and March 2012 due to Moosey getting a redundancy pay-off and us both thinking life's too short to be sensible with the money ... so we had 3 months in Australia and a month in Thailand. It was brilliant and I wish I could do it all over again ... *sigh*
Barmouth in a static caravan 2 years ago, all the van has done is replaced paying for statics, we still do the same stuff! i've not been abroad since 1999 and haven't got a passport now.
Lake district (conistan) in a tent ,nearly got blown away ,decided there to get a van ,none tent was in 2002 to parents Villa (now sold) in Portimao
last june to New York had a great time would go back tomorrow well not tomorrow when it gets warm again
my holidays every year involve pain and exercise climbing mountains on my bike ,never could sit on a beach for long ... > Loads of places in my youth with the lads... 8)
Cyprus last August. We tried doing the main holiday in the van a couple of years ago, but it was Wales (wet) and Cornwall (wet and gales). Next time it'll be somewhere sunny........
Ischia in the Bay of Naples for a week plus a night in Naples in June this year. Nice bit of luxury but I'd rather be in the van
