    1929 so more than 10 years after the first world war, chances are my grandad was there, my dad said he used to go to every home game in the 20s 30s 40s he took my dad in the late 40s

    You mean kids in Brum wore lederhosen and locked each other in cellars or was he Austrian :p

    You might have called it something else dahn Sarf Baz. It’s was basically volleys or heads to keep the ball up and into the goal :thumbsup:

    No never heard of it but we used to play a game called bundle Squares all the kids stood around a tennis court marked out on the playground, you kicked the ball around the square if it came off you or you was nutmegged you had to run to the boundary fence which was home and the boys around the square chased you and gave you a kicking if they caught you, it was brutal
