I trained in curtain walling not the most interesting of jobs but it payed the bills! I have been out of the game too long now.
Not nesser celery mate! I started toolmaking at 16. Done that for 5 years, then went off doing all sorts. Ground work on new build houses, building horse riding arenas/fencing/stables and polo pitches, flat packing desks and fitting gearboxes on the new mini. Now I'm back in engineering (with the same company I was with at 16) Granted its totally different from what I was doing then. It's all computerised now. It was daunting at first going back, but now I've learnt the new technology I find it easier than when I was 16.
When it opens in my browser it is spelt Bluprint, it loses the e somewhere between your link in your earlier post and safari! Really nice looking website btw, if we ever get time to do one I hope it is as good as yours.
Works from the signature ... not sure why doesn't from your post. I'm currently knocking up my own website using one of those template things ... hoping that will suffice as don't have enough business funds to do otherwise at the mo.
I find it interesting to see what everyone does as I read it, but I take little notice of WHO does what and I've forgotten already. But I see exactly where woody was coming from, it's a bit like asking the colour of your skin... no need. I've done loads of different things. Some I was supposed to be brainy, some I was supposed to be thick. I've never really worked for the fun of it, it's a neccessary evil and I'd give it up tomorrow if I could. Sometimes a weld looks quite nice.
Lol. I've left the machine empty today so ill be cutting it on Sunday. You should have by mid week, all being well.
i hold the grand title of Operations Manager for an Indian financial services outsourcing company - living the dream............
Do you go to the Barkston Health Nationals. Popped up a few years back for a watch, some big blooming models flying about.
We went a couple of years back to this event. The same year as that crazy fool broke the world record for the fastest wheel chair, then one of the models hit one of the crowd (not pretty)
Blimey. If I'd realised that I'd been chatting to a bunch of low-lifes I would have moved on ages ago.
